The short version
We keep the minimum: what is needed for you to have an account, post on the forum and receive the emails you asked for. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
What we keep, and why
- Account: username, email and password (stored as a hash — we cannot read your password). They let you sign in and be identified on the forum.
- Forum: what you post, with a date. Public by nature.
- Newsletter: your email and language, if you subscribed. It only joins the list after you confirm through the link we send.
- IP address: kept briefly alongside sign-in, sign-up and posting attempts. It is what holds back brute-force attacks and spam floods.
- Cookies: two, and neither is for tracking — one keeps your session while you are signed in, the other remembers your chosen language. The theme (light or dark) stays in your own browser and never reaches us.
What we do NOT do
We use no advertising trackers, build no behavioural profile and do not sell, rent or hand over your data. There are no third-party ads on the site.
Who else sees it
The data lives on the site’s hosting server. When an email delivery service is in place, your address will be shared with it solely to deliver the messages you asked for.
For how long
As long as the account exists. Access-attempt records are discarded shortly after — they exist only to curb abuse.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and to leave the newsletter at any time. Every email of ours carries an unsubscribe link.
An honest note about deleting your account: your forum posts may remain, because deleting them would leave other people’s conversations meaningless. If you prefer, they can be unlinked from your name — just ask.
For any of these requests, write to leandroqueiroz17@gmail.com.
Minors
The site is not intended for children under 13. If we learn of an account in that age range, it will be removed.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS, passwords are stored as hashes and database access is protected. No system is 100% secure — if there is an incident affecting your data, we will tell you.
This text describes what the site actually does, and is updated when the site changes. It does not replace a lawyer’s review.
